Sinful Colors in Olympia

Can I just say how much I LOVE Sinful Colors' Spring collection?! When I saw the display at my local Walgreens, I ran over to it and picked up a few colors. I only brought home 2, but you can bet that I'll be back to pick up a few more.

The one that I love the most is Olympia, this pale Spring green creme.

I've been wearing Olympia for a couple of days and they began chipping so I decided to do a leopard nail art print over the ones that had. Big mistake as my "art" didn't come out so good, but I decided to keep them as a trial run.

Pardon those random black dots on the pictures, I really need to take my camera in to Geek Squad to get my lens cleaned.

This is probably my favorite green polish I've ever owned. It just screams grass and pastel and the fact that Spring is in the air. At only $1.99, Olympia is perfectly opaque in just one coat but to play it safe, I put two.

I got a bunch of polish this past weekend (Feb. 25-26) so I still plan on posting pics of that haul. I'm just having trouble finding the perfect natural lighting but I will get to it eventually.

Nail Polish Haul this weekend

It has been almost over a year since I last updated but I've decided that I really want to pick this blog back up! This past weekend I got a lot of good nail goodies so I'm going to post an update soon with pictures. :)

Zoya's Summer Collection 2011 - March Promo: Buy One Get One Free!

As all or mostly everyone knows, Zoya made an announcement on Thursday that they were going to give those with signed up accounts on their website a little surprise. They advised those who wanted to participate to be signed up by 5PM EST Sunday evening or else they'd miss the event. So, there was everyone waiting in anticipation to see what the promo would be on Sunday night, with some people taking it a little too far and actually demanding Zoya to tell them what it was. Amid all that chaos on their Facebook wall, Zoya finally announced that they were going to have a Buy One, Get One Free on their newest Summer collections! There are three different collections: Summertime, Sunshine and Mod Mattes. The last day to be able to take advantage of this promo will be on Friday, March 25th!

Here is a video by Temptalia showcasing the swatches from the 2011 Zoya Summer collections:

She also did reviews for each of the collections::
Sunshine
Summertime
Mod Mattes

Since I'm still trying to decide exactly which colors I'm going to get (I want all of them but it's impossible), I think I'll give it a day before I order. For those of you participating in this promo, which ones are you going to order (or already got)? The ones I have my eye on are Mira and Faye!

Sally Hansen Color Quick Pens

On Sunday night, I was going through the CVS discount rack when I came across three of the Sally Hansen Chrome Color Quick Pens. My instincts told me to take all three of them but I ultimately decided to pick one only (I spent more than enough on polish this weekend). So, I chose the color in Gold Chrome.

L.A. Colors Color Craze

So, this is my first real blog post showcasing the polishes I buy! I'm so excited! Sorry if I seem a bit like a noob :)

I recently went by the Dollar Tree to get my hands on some L.A. Colors Nail Art Decos but they didn't have them. I did however see some LA Colors 'Color Craze' polishes and decided to try these out!

Polishy! An Intro.

Hello! I have finally decided to get started on my nail blog that I've wanted to put up for so long. I have found time to get this thing off the floor and share with the whole world my passion... Nail polish + art! Every single person I encounter, I always look at their nails. No matter how young, old, or gender. It's always interesting to see the different types of designs that are out there and how much creativity was put into their manicures. That's ultimately why I wanted to start a blog, to share the good and bad manicures, the collections I love and just in general, my unhealthy and making-me-broke obsession. I'm not a beginner in knowing about polish because I've been wearing it since I can remember, but the whole nail polish/art community aroused my interests within the past year after seeing all the awesome guru's creativity on YouTube and the amazing blogs that are out there. I hope you enjoy this blog as much as I will! Have a wonderful polishy day! :)
